Dr. Benno Bernet

Benno Bernet advises national and international clients on contract law, commercial law, corporate law, banking and stock exchange law, inheritance law and arbitration. He was a partner in the law firm Nobel & Hug since 1995.

After completing his law studies at the University of Zurich in 1981, he was admitted to the bar of the Canton of Zurich in 1985. In 1989, he obtained his PhD from the University of Zurich with a doctoral thesis on “The Swiss PTT companies and their position as providers under competition law, especially in the field of mass communication”. From 1991 to 1992, he worked for a renowned law firm in New York and was admitted as a legal consultant for the State of New York in 1992.
